Hello, We stayed in your ryokan in March. We were very sick! You helped us and gave us okayu. Thank you very much for your kindness!! We felt better after two days and we enjoyed Nagasaki and Kumamoto before returning to Fukuoka We came back to Australia safe and well and with memories of your kindness towards us while we were sick. Thank you again so very much. |
Comments - ACTIVE The breakfast was really good. |
Comments - ACTIVE The owner, aged 72, is extremely caring. When I left at 5.45am in the morning, he stood in the street and waved goodbye until I turned the corner. Upon arrival in the afternoon, hot water was brought so that I could have fresh Japanese Green Tea. Although it is in a modern concrete building, my room was very cleverly transformed into a Ryokan room albeit with modern conveniences. Being elderly myself, I did find getting up from and down to the floor quite difficult. |
Comments - ACTIVE The only reasons I can think of why this ryokan was so cheap was that it is in a modern building and a residential neighborhood. However, it was great value for money. We definitely recommend it. |
Comments - ACTIVE Our second time to stay, now 4 nights. Same, friendly host. Small home-like ryokan, walking distance from station. Quiet and comfortable room, good facilities. Excellent Japanese type breakfast with small variations each morning. Totally enjoyable stay. |
Comments - ACTIVE Excellent hospitality. the ambience of the hotel was cosy and truly traditional! really enjoyed our stay in the ryokan. |
Comments - ACTIVE This is an excellent, very affordable ryokan. We stayed in a private room, which was quite big, with attached bathroom. The mats you sleep on are a little thin but this is quite commong I guess. All in all a very nice stay in a traditional ryokan where you get a lot more space for your money than in an average Japanese business hotel. The owner's English is very limited though, don't expect too much from that. |
Comments - ACTIVE It was a wonderful experience knowing the Japanese way of life. |
Comments - ACTIVE best place for value in nagasaki!! |
