This park was formerly US Air Force Tachikawa Base, and was returned to Japan. This big space was modified to a national public park mainly for nearby residents. There is a big lawn ground in the center area, and the flower space are set in the corner of the ground, where Iceland poppies are in bloom in spring time, and sun flowers in summer time, and cosmos flowers in fall. This is a fascinating spot with lots of visitors in any seasons.
