Why did I make these pages now ?

" The basic of spinning "
These are my article of Japanese fishing magazine on 2004 spring . They are written about the basic technics of spinning tackles .

I thought that it was too basic and everybody knew such basic , when I was requested the article .

But I received the mails from the readers after the magazine was issued . They said " My casting get better by the article " .
70's
This is 70's manual by Mitchell . I referenced this for the articles . Other manufactures made the same manuals for beginners .

Japanese manufactures made the manuals like as this also in 70's although it was not perfect .
Oh , no !
But the manufacturers become fool in 80's .

This is the manual of 90's Mitchell . The grip is not correct . The handle is reverse . The line is picked up by the joint of forefinger .

Of course
This is Shimano's manual . Shimano instructs the adjustment of the drag . But Shimano does not instruct the correct gripping and casting . Does Shimano fish without the cast ?

" I don't want to sell my reel in Japan "
Mr. Hara , who designed Lew's Speed Spin , said , " I don't want to sell my reels in Japan . The most of Japanese anglers don't know the correct grip . They wind the handle by their right hand " .

Because Japanese manufacture has not been instructing how to use the fishing tackle , the most of Japanese anglers don't know the correct grip and cast . So , he didn't want to be used his reels by Japanese . If I was in same situation , I said same .

I cannot understand why the manufacturers allow their reels be used by uncorrect way . No manufacturer instructs how to use the fishing tackles now . Moreover , Japanese manufacturers are selling their spinning reels by the right side handle in Japan .

Moreover , I feel that the true angler has left from European manufacturers . See the 90's Mitchell manual . See CardinalC302 . Some of spinning rods have the metal screws on the area for putting the thumb .

So , I decided to make these beginner's pages now . But it must be done by the manufacturers . (2004/8/3)
