I bought C302. Its metallic green body is beautiful. Its spool lip is not the gold anodized aluminum, some Japanese reels use, but TiN coated SUS.
But gold color of bail and A/R lever is too much.
Its bail mount is not tapping screw. It is metal shaft. So its bail returning is smooth.
Although the rear cover is design trend, its cover is not a only cover.
When you remove it, you can check and grease the gears. It is better than Shimano's new maintenance port.
But PF doesn't say it on catalogues. Why ?
The new flat winding system is used in it. It is same to Daiwa Capricorn's system.

Why doesn't PF write it on catalogues ?
The knob of Ambassadeure is the best of knobs. So, I bought C302.
But its knob is not same. Its curve doesn't fit finger.
The manufacturer copied only its appearance. The manufacturer (Okuma ?) doesn't understand the fishing reel !
The manufacture still doesn't know the fishing reel ! The forefinger can not reach the spool !
I cannot use this reel !
Even if it was the manufacturer's problem, why did ABU accept such a defect reel ?
ABU may say, "American's forefinger can reach". Were the cardinal33/44 made for Japanese market ? Moreover, 33/44 had the rotor brakes.
And, "American's forefinger can reach" was the same answer when I pointed out "My forefinger cannot reach the spool of Shimano's spinning" to Shimano's R/D members. The Shimano's spinning had made the spool nearer and loaded the rotor brake now.
ABU has become 80's Shimano !
