The revived Ambassadeurs in 90's Japanese market.

Ambassadeur2500C The first Ambassadeur whitch revived by the request of Olympic/Mamiya in 90's were this 2500C and 1500C. Though some Japanese anglers think these reels were made by Olympic/Mamiya, these are made by ABU in Sweden. First, the knob of this model was a new round type. But Japanese fans did not like it. So it was changed to flat knob soon. Its small spool makes good feeling. The 4600C was too large for bass fishing, the smallest Ambassadeur had been 4600C until this revival. It was a error of ABU. |

Ambassadeur5500C I bought it by the nostalsia. But it is too large for Japanese fishing. Its casting feeling is good for large lures. I want to fish by this reel with "Bite" whitch is legendary spoon in 70's Japan. But I don't have a "time machine". This color is early 70's color. |
