Abu is serious !

 Easy to maintain
Ambassadeur 3000C can be taken apart only by removing two screws. It is different from Japanese "black box" reels. It meens Abu believes the customers. And it is a message that Abu hopes the customers to use the reels for life.
Cardinal GM was the first "long spool" spinning reel of Abu. The first model of this type was Daiwa's Tournament SS series. Most long spool reels after SS had the defect that the side cover cannot be taken apart without removing the rotor. But this GM can be taken apart like as normal reels. The copying Asian brands cannot such design.
2 Safety design
The worm shaft pipe of 3000C is designed to protect the worm shaft from dust and water.
The same parts of SHIMANO reels are opposit direction to 3000C. It meens the design concept is also opposite direction.
3 Line roller bush
Cardinal 33/44/C3/C4/800/GM used the bushings in their line rollers. Most 80's Japanese reels did not used the bushings. I cannot accept them as a "reel".

4 Handle knob
The handle knobs of Europian reels are excellent, because Europian countries keep humanity. So, Japan can never such handle knobs.

5 Abu does not use gimmick.
Ambassadeurs don't have the clicks on their star wheels and mechanical brakes. Their cranks are simple and light plate of light alloy. Do the clicks make micro adjustment ? Do the forged cranks only make the reels heavier ? These features of Japanese reels are gimmick. Abu is serious.

6 Long model life
This is my 4600C. It was changed to "ultra cast design". But its appearance is same as old model. Abu never neglects old customers.
