It is used on the main shaft of Shimano's 98 spinning reels of 1000, 2000, 2500.
Drill:4.5,4.8,5.0,6.3
Shimano's bushings: 2 or 3 pieces.
Make the tip flat by abrasive cloth or grinder.
The older type of 60's is made by cut (under). The newer type is made by header (above).
The newer type is not straight.
Some of this type can not be set the bushing under the head.
In above case, cut the bushings. It becomes a washer.
It is not necessary , if you had a 4*5 washers of brass, stainless steel, POM.
From left to right...Bushing, Knob, Bushing, Washer, Shaft.
The two bushings are new. The cut one is used only for washer.
Drill by from 4.5 to 5.0 by hand.
Make the hole for the flange of bushings by 6.3 drill.
Drill the opposite side carefully.
It does not need glue.
