Bail Springs
Bail springs of 308/408.
60's 408 I got a 60's 408 last year. Its bail spring had been broken. So, I repaired it by my copied spring. But its bail was not closed perfectly. I couldn't find the reason , because I had abandoned the broken spring. . |
The original (?) An owner of 60's 408 showed this spring to me. Its coils are less than 70's. The wire is 0.65mm dia. |
70's spring Its coils had been increased. There are distances between each wires. The wire is 0.65mm dia.@ |
80's spring There are not distances each wires. "L" point is longer than 70's. The wire is 0.65mm dia. |
My spring I copied the spring of 80's. The wire is 0.65mm dia. |
The first stage of 90's The spring of 90's 308PRO. "L" point is different. The wire is 0.7mm dia. |
The last stage of 90's It returned to 60's original. But its life had been shorten. The bail arm is worn , because the power of spring is too much. Nothing is good ! The wire is 0.65mm dia. |
The good spring are 70's and 80's.
The lives of the others are short.
I cannot understand the change of 90's.
