2 Main gear with steel shaft
The color of shaft and the color of gear wheel of this picture are not
equal. The shaft is steel. The gear wheel is zinc. The other manufacturers
do not make such gears, because the cost is too high. Ohmori used this
gear even if it was their cheapest model.
3 The minimum use of ball bearing
Because the shaft of main gear is steel, the expensive ball bearings are
not necessary. Ohmori's priority is right.
4 The screw lock crank
Because the shaft of main gear is steel, they can use the screw lock crank.
It is more durable than ceramic roller. The ceramic roller without bush wears its shaft. The most of other Japanese manufacturers made such rollers.
The other manufacturers started using the felt for the drag washers in 90's. But Ohmori had used it since 60's. It was selected the No.1 drag by Australian fishing magazine.
7 The anti-reverse
This anti-reverse is excellent for space utility and anti dust.
