1　Slow oscilation and Cross wrap

Shimano's Stella 2500SS emploies "Super slow oscilation". It does not make "Cross wrap". Shimano's Biomaster 3000MgS is normal oscilation. It makes "Cross wrap". 2500SS makes longer cast than 3000MgS.

2　Planamatic and Normal oscilation

308 with planamatic does not make "Cross wrap". Cardinal33 with normal oscilation makes "Cross wrap". 308 corresponds Stella 2500SS on 1. Planamatic look like complex motion. But the distance from line roller to spool crosses out the complex motion. So, planamatic works nearly slow oscilation.

3　Why planamatic ?

You will think "Why doesn't MITCHELL use normal slow oscilation?". But this is French engineering ! Japanese makers can never create such super original mechanism ! It is same as Hydro of Citroen !
