Facilities were amazing. Beautiful clean Japanese style room with bathroom and toilet. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a wonderful stay.

こんにちは、先週8月の4日から5日まで一泊した韓国の朴です。
あの時、竹室に泊まりましたが、本当に綺麗で食事も美味しかったです。
しかも親切でお茶のお代わりまで本当にお世話になりました。
そして、駅で電車の乗る際、鍵を持ってるのを気づいて案内所まで預かりしましたが、問題なかったのでしょうか？
大変失礼しました。では、また機会があれば行きたいと思いますので、その時も宜しくお願いします。

We got lost trying to find the ryokan initially but it was well worth finding! One of the most clean and well equipped places we stayed in Japan.

If you want dinner, you need to give 24 hours notice and the email goes to another agent not directly to ryokan..

Friendly and attentive manager. Good location close to station and trams. Nice size room compared
to other places stayed in Japan. Room cooled in advance of my arrival (phew!).

Pleasant and very attentive innkeeper. Clean and spacious tatami room. Private bath with o-furo. Yukatas and complementary green tea. The Japanese breakfast (reserve the night before) was simply excellent.
A very nice place to stay.

My four days at this ryokan were wonderful. The room was very nice and the owner and staff are awesome. The location is conveniently close to Nagasaki Station and very convenient in terms of travel within the city as it is in the center of things and a quick walk away from a tram station. Although I didn`t try the optional meals myself, they always smelt wonderful. I intend to stay here again on my next visit to the wonderful city of Nagasaki.
