Fujiwara-san was really helpful. Liked the "high-class" treatment and the TV on my room 　Definately a place to stay at in Nagasaki, 　just hop on a tram from FH and visit any part 　of the town.

It is a small familiy runned ryokan and it was very nice to stay there. 　The room was big and everything very clean. We got green tea everyday 　when we came home. The security is not to be topped, the owner stands 　next to you even when you take off your shoes! 　That was a bit weird, but all in all a great place to stay in Nagasaki!!

Comments - ACTIVE Wenn ich einen Vorzeigeryokan benennen sollte, ist es in jedem Fall der Fujiwara Ryokan! Ich kann mir keine bessere Unterbringung vorstellen, als hier. Alle waren freundlich, das Haus sauber, und erstklassig gefuehrt. Ich kann jedem, der in Nagasaki einen guten Ryokan sucht, diesen empfehlen. Dennoch rate ich, Japanischkenntnisse mitzubringen; im uebrigen gilt das fuer ganz Japan; da hier leider kaum englisch gesprochen wird.

Comments - ACTIVE 　The Fujiwara Ryokan is a great place to stay in Nagasaki. The location is excellent and our room 　was large, clean and comfortable. The ryokan provided toiletries, towels and yukata. 　The owner was a really friendly older guy and he even gave us a souvenir from the hostel 　when we left! Maybe not for those who like to party as there is an 11:30 curfew and no real 　common area.

This was a great Ryokan style hotel and in a very convenient location. This is more like a budget hotel.
If you're hoping to find other backpackers here, you won't find any. But the place is great, clean and
very comfortable. The manager is very friendly. Very good place to stay, I will definately go back there.

Clean, crisp, full of character. Like you\'d expect from any decent Ryokan. Had to stay because everything else booked. It was a little out of my price range, but, was a nice change from hostel life.

It's a short walk from Nagasaki train station which is very convenient. 　Owner is very friendly and the place has an easy going atmosphere. 　Our room was spacious and looked out onto the street. 　Its building is nestled amongst other residential 　buildings so it almost felt like living along with the other people in the city.
